Welsh Open – 16-17th October ’21

The Welsh Open is being held in Llanelli on 16-17th October 2021.

The venue is the Terry Griffiths Matchroom, which is hosting a WBL event for the first time. The club has been long established in the historic town of Llanelli and has hosted a number of important Snooker events over the years. The legendary Terry Griffiths himself regularly coaches at the venue. There are 12 tables within the main room and another two private match rooms that the club have kindly offered to us.

Current Champion:

Peter Gilchrist is the current Welsh Open champion having beaten Martin Goodwill in 2019.

Train – Llanelli has a train station situated in the town about a 5 minute drive from the venue. It is on the mainline to Carmarthen so is a regular stop for many trains travelling further west.

Air – Cardiff Wales Airport is the nearest to Llanelli and is approximately 1hr 10 mins drive from the venue.

Ferry – Rosslare to Fishguard is a recommended route if travelling via sea from Ireland.
