Landywood English Open and World Billiards Championship – Change of Dates
We recently announced that the 2025 World Billiards Championship (timed format) will return to Landywood Snooker Club, near Walsall in England, in October 2025.
We have subsequently been made aware that the dates announced clash with Diwali celebrations. In particular a number of players from India who are interested in competing would have family commitments at this time.
A decision has therefore been made to change the event dates to a week earlier. As a result, the English Open will now be held over the weekend of 11-12 October, with the World Championship from Monday to Thursday, 13-16 October.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused. We are confident that by announcing this change at the earliest opportunity, it will allow a field of the highest possible quality to play in our blue riband event.
Details on the entry process will become available after the conclusion of the current season.
