Achievement(s):

• 1994 EASB English Amateur Champion, winning the John Roberts trophy.
• Multiple times Merseyside and North West champion.
• Competed on the professional tour from 1997 – 2003, peaking at number 7 in the rankings, including wins over Shutt, Chapman, Sethi and Foldvari.
• Travelled to India to compete on numerous occasions.
• 2023 Jim Williamson Open Champion.
• 2023 World Matchplay Championship runner-up.

Biography/Information:

• Peter returned to the game in 2021 after 18 years away. He is currently number 4 in the World Rankings and regularly competes in WBL events as well as English National events.
• In July 2025, Peter reached the incredible milestone of a 1000 break (1023) in a practice game with Terry McAdam, available on YouTube here.
• On 8th March 2026 in the EPSB National Championship at Landywood Snooker Club, Peter joined an exclusive club of 1000 break makers in tournament play with a 1087 in the 2-hour semi-final against Jonathan Marwood. This is only the second 4-figure break in the UK during tournament play since the second World War.
• Peter has three boys; Tom, Jack and Harry.
