WBL Statement – Jason Colebrook

World Billiards Ltd (WBL) today announces that Jason Colebrook has stepped down from the Board of Directors with immediate effect.

Jason joined the Board in 2017 and served as Managing Director from 2019.

Originally based in his native Australia, and more recently in Singapore, Jason oversaw a number of important developments for WBL. These include the successful staging of World Championships in Melbourne and Singapore, increases in prize money and participation, as well as supporting the continuation of key events in Australia and New Zealand that form part of the WBL circuit. He continues to be actively involved in coaching and has contributed to the development of the World Billiards Coaching Scheme, particularly through the appointment of new coaches and examiners in Australia.

The Board would like to place on record its sincere thanks to Jason for his service to WBL and recognises the positive impact his knowledge and experience have had across a number of areas within the organisation.

A further announcement regarding the appointment of a new Managing Director will be made in due course.
