  • English Open Semi Finalist in 2019.
  • Represented England 3 times in the Home Internationals.
  • In the Jim Williamson Open in Leeds 2018, in a 45 minute game Darren was trailing 50-136 with around 12 minutes to go. He made a break of 154 with his last visit to win the match.
  • As a 16 year old scored 303 points in a 30 minute match in the Teesside Boys Billiards League.


  • Darren lives with his wife Sarah and 2 young children Charlie & Molly.
  • Darren orginates from Middlesbrough, England and therefore is a product of the famous Teesside Boys Billiards League.
  • Darren had a break from Billiards post juniors (circa 2000), but returned to play again a few years ago (circa 2015).
  • He is very proud and counts himself lucky to have recently developed an area of his home to house his very own Billiard table. A heated Riley Aristocrat steel block table.
  • Now living in Boston Spa, West Yorkshire, Darren plays and supports his local league in York (the Fabershield Billiards League).
  • Middlesbrough Football Club fan (unfortunately).
