(David Causier will be aiming to defend his UK Championship title)
UK Championship – 23rd-25th January ’26
In our first event of 2026, we return to Landywood in Great Wyrley for the UK Championship.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship and support of our hosts, Landywood Snooker Club, the UK Championship was reinstated to the calendar in 2025 after a hiatus of six years. The event has a rich history, dating back to 1934 and featuring legends of the game such as Joe Davis and Tom Newman.
Players will be competing in Landywood to have their name etched on the same piece of silerware that was first won in 1979, when Rex Williams defeated Fred Davis.
We are pleased to increase the prize pool by 25% compared to last year. The group stage with 90-minute timed matches will take place all day on both Friday and Saturday, with the knockout stage on Sunday. A Challenge Cup will also be held on Sunday for players not qualifying through their group.
