Jim Williamson Open – 9-10th August ’25
The start of the new 2025-26 World Billiards season is fast approaching. Once again we get underway in Leeds with the Jim Williamson Open, a level 3 World Ranking Event, at the Northern Snooker Centre from 9-10th August. This event is one of our most popular and follows immediately after the Home Internationals Championships, which is being played at the same venue. The tournament and trophy are named and held in honour of Jim Williamson, Billiards ambassador and enthusiast and founder of the iconic Northern Snooker Centre in 1974.
World Billiards events have been held at the Northern Snooker Centre for many years and we are grateful for their continued support to make this event possible.
A Challenge Cup will be held on the Sunday for players that do not reach the knockout stage of the main event.
