The Jim Williamson Memorial World Open took place at the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds on 18th & 19th October and was won by defending champion Matthew Bolton who defeated Rupesh Shah 603 (156,249) v 306 (164,125) in the 90 minute final. Matthew also took the high break prize with an unfinished 527 in his group match against Gary Rogers. The Plate Flyer was won by Raja Subramanian, defeating Jamie Barker in the final. The trophy was presented by Northern Snooker Centre owner and Jim Williamson’s son Chris following the final.
