Due to the ongoing global outbreak of COVID-19, we regret that the decision has been made to suspend all WBL events until at least 30th June 2020.

This difficult decision takes into account the latest government advice and the safety of our players, officials and partners – which is always our top priority. The uncertainty and restrictions around overseas travel mean that it would not be in the best interests of the sport to proceed with events at this time.

The website calendar of events reflects the current situation. As soon as new dates are confirmed our website and social media channels will be updated.

We have recently been in discussions with partners about events in Bangkok, Thailand and Phoenix, Arizona. These discussions have been put on hold and will be revisited at a later date.

Players who have entered any of the affected events will receive a refund of their entry fee by Friday, March 20.

We are deeply sorry for this unfortunate but necessary action and thank all our supporters for their understanding during this difficult period.

UPDATE – 16/06/2020:

As we move through the stages of the pandemic, we are continuing to monitor the situation very closely.

Looking ahead, we are aware of the difficulties that may be faced by players who need to travel overseas for world ranking events. Some restrictions and challenges around international travel are likely to continue for the immediate future, which could impact the accessibility of our events and areas such as ranking lists.

We are delighted to hear that clubs and facilities, with appropriate safety measures in place, are preparing to reopen in the UK and other countries where restrictions are being eased.

Our calendar of events remains suspended at this time. We are committed to restarting our events as soon as it is safe and in the best interests of the sport to do so, subject to government guidelines. We will update our website and social media channels as soon as we have further details.

It is our intention to return even stronger than before and we thank all our Billiards fans for their continued support.
