Major billiard achievements:

Winning the Bury & Rochdale Billiards league team championship with Bury Snooker Club at our 1st attempt,  after playing billiards for only 3 months. Although this is on the back of 10 years of playing snooker. I have also been selected by the league to play in an exhibition match that forms part of the league presentation evening against David Causier.

I wqs ntroduced to the game by ex-professional snooker player, Jack  McLaughlin (Also on the same billiard team).

  • I have also had the pleasure of playing Mike Russell at a recent English Billiards Social Series event in Rochdale. Despite being heavily beaten (as I expected), it was fantastic to watch such a great player and learn from the experience.
  • Highest match break: 35
  • Highest practice break: 78
  • Cue: Peradon,  weight 17oz, ash shaft with red ebony butt.
  • Tip: Elkmaster
  • Life outside billiards: Recently graduated with a Master of Science degree in Design Management from Salford University. Now work at a furniture design and manufacture company and also at Bury Snooker Club. I also enjoy other sports such as snooker, cycling, golf and cricket.
