Martin Budge born 23rd, August 1971 in Guernsey  also lived and worked in Jersey,  London,  Oxford and Dunfermline, Scotland.

He is single with no children.  Martin has played snooker since the age of 8 on a 6ft table.

He has had 6 centuries at snooker the highest being 120. The last one was while ago now though he says.

Achievements:   Runner up Junior Island Snooker Championships, Runner up Senior Island Snooker Championships, Winner of local league premier division on 2 occasions.

He also won the Island Snooker Pairs Championship with his father Keith, who previously won the Island Snooker  and Island Snooker Handicap Championship’s on 2 occasions and represented Guernsey in the Island Billiards and Snooker Teams against Jersey.

He has represented Guernsey 4 times at the Home Internationals Snooker at Prestatyn.

In Billiards, last season was his first.  He finished joint 2nd in handicap individual league and 4th in scratch league.

He represented the Island Team against Jersey and won his individual match although the team lost.

He is currently top of the individual scratch league this season.

His highest competitive break at billiards is 54, highest EBOS break 44 (made in my first ever tournament!) and a 70 in practice.

He competed in his first WBL event the 2012 British Open in Bradford and won his first WBL match by beating Jamie Barker 276 – 157.

Martin  currently plays with a cue handmade by Craftsman Cues Leeds, it’s a one piece ash cue 59 inches long,

20 oz, it has a  thick 32mm butt and a 10mm Kamui Black Super Soft Tip.

Outside of billiards Martin works for an outside catering company.

His main interests are women and beer.!
