Roy Bacon

Geoffrey “Smokey” Bacon, known as Roy, was born in England in 1945 and now lives in Scotland.
He was six times Essex champion and semi finalist in the English Amateur Championship 1988, narrowly losing to Peter Gilchrist by several hundred lucky points, or so he says.

His highest match break is 187 in the English Amateur Championship.
Highest EBOS break, 143  in Jersey.

Roy is happily married and retired in Duntocher, near Glasgow. His interests include Scottish history, people watching, golf, eating out, travel and socialising.

He has one of the finest Billiards rooms in Scotland and has frequent visitors.
